Regency Silk Work Sampler Map Of England & Wales

A very antique Regency period England and Wales map Silkwork Sampler circa 1770.

In the original gilt & gesso frame this is a stunning piece of history and a rare survivor all original  silkwork map of England and Wales. Depicts the counties set within an oval floral banded border. A beautiful period piece and a unique  addition to an embroidery sampler or even map collection.  

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
