A very rare Jenners and Bettrige Birmm London early 19th century parcel gilt papier mâché mother of pearl chair with cane work seat and inlaid flower decoration. An exceptional looking and decorative piece, dating from the  early Victorian era of 1838. Research and catalogue entries show this model made by the master craftsmen at  Jenners & Bettridge Birmm London. These chairs are very rare to find and are of the highest decorative quality. In  good order for its age there are some historic repairs, cracking crazing etc,  (do not detract from the use or look of the item). Cane  work in good order, all in all a very unique and statement piece of furniture.

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm.
