A beautiful set of four Midcentury Vanson Rosewood chairs. Designed by Peter Hayward and produced by British manufacturer Vanson, one of the leading manufacturers for Heal's.
Peter Hayward established his reputation as a furniture designer in the 1950s -70s. With an impressive client list that included G-Plan, Parker Knoll, Greaves & Thomas, Uniflex, Race Furniture and not forgetting Heals and Son in London. Several of his designs were selected for the Design Council and Design Index and because this acclaim represented British design in the UK. This fabulous set of four chairs date from 1958.
