Exceptional Rosewood Tilt Top Dining Table Circa 1860


A stunning early Victorian Rosewood tilt top dining table. Exceptional matched Rosewood to table top. Beautiful arched and carved feet with central pillar detailing. Original brass castors. This table screams high quality. Dating from around 1860 this is a showpiece and still completely original and useable from the day it was constructed. We also have 6 mahogany matching chairs with Howard & Sons ticking fabric covered seats. (not included in the sale price). 166cm upright tilt 112cm depth 152cm width 72cm to table top 65cm to under table top (plenty of knee space).

As a genuine antique/vintage product there is wear and use commensurate with age.  Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
