A beautiful antique English elm and ash arm chair/elbow/desk chair. Stamped makers mark to rear of saddle seat with ident R.W. for maker. Oxford bar back with turned armrests. A very gorgeous country house chair in excellent order for age. Great wear to seat from years of use. Deep patina and grain with treacle colour wear in parts from over 100 years of use. Fabulous form with turned legs and cross stretcher. The perfect side/desk/kitchen/desk chair. Circa 1850.
