Barley twist pilasters detailing to edge of console with carved gadrooned detailing to centre of door panel and turned carved ball feet. Thick cut walnut side panels with fabulous open swirl grain. Polished inner door panels of mahogany, confirming that this piece of statement furniture is of the highest quality, even with the parts you cannot see at first glance having the finest materials available used in construction. Exquisite detail to book matched panels with heart shape motif to figured walnut. Two upper drawers with central turned recessed carved detail, matched with dovetailed chestnut drawer liners. As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Both end panels to sides have historic age related cracks, neither detract from overall look or use of the piece.
