Antique Marble Italian Commode Chest Drawers

A beautiful antique Italian Commode chest of drawers.  This is a serious statement piece of furniture with thick cut hand carved original Breccia marble top. Fabulous serpentine form with swept feet giving elegance and presence to the piece. Original handles/escutcheons, dove tailed joints and over painted distressed patina, giving a more contemporary look matching with the Breccia marble top which adds to the overall look of this wonderful chest. Will suit a multitude of settings. Bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen or commercial setting this piece would not look out of place.

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. The marble top Is in fair order for age with a small nibble out of the front left hand side, this does not detract from the look or use of the item. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
