Early Antique Georgian Flame Mahogany Console Extending Tea Table Circa 1730

An exceptional quality early Antique Georgian (George II)  flame mahogany tea/console table. Circa 1730 with fabulous patination from years of use. Hand carved legs, original brass inset hinges, thick reeded two plank extending top with deep mellow patina. An absolutely beautiful example. 90cm  fully extended height 73cm width 91cm 45cm closed.

As a genuine antique / vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Historic repairs to hinges and historic fault line to underside of extending leaf which has historic repair. None of these detract from look or use of the piece and are very common in pieces of furniture of this age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm. Please look at all the images carefully and ask any questions pre purchase as we do not unfortunately offer refunds due to the size and shipping costs of our antiques/items.  All our items are available on line at Search & Rescued and other online stores.
