A beautiful Victorian ebonised, cane, mother of pearl and gilt work design show chair. Dating from 1850 this exceptional survivor is in original sleepy condition with no later alterations. Exquisite detailing and fabulous form/shape. Beautiful swept legs synonymous with the period of design. Cane work original and in good order for age. Some marks/knocks to decorative detailing as expected for age.

An absolutely beautiful early Regency cane faux bamboo Sussex chair. Ebonised bamboo turned frame with cane seat. Traces of original lead blue base paint. As chairs go this is out there and such is the quality it should be in Brighton Pavillion. A very rare statement chair. Circa 1811.
