Rare Early Antique Gustavian Swedish Rococo Elbow Chair Circa 1760


A rare early antique Gustavian Swedish Rococo elbow chair circa 1760. Exceptional shape and design with original carved makers marks to inner frame. Stunning swept arms and hand carved back rest, cabriole front legs with pad feet and swept rear legs. Constructed from oak with fabulous patina and grain. Peg and tenon joints. A classic design rarity. Statement chair for the living room , bedroom , hallway etc. Reupholstered in high quality heavy gauge 12 oz Irish linen.
