Early Antique Provincial Welsh Barrel Back Settle Bench Seat Circa 1850

A beautiful antique high back provincial Welsh barrel back settle. Wide plank back boards with fabulous depth of patina/age. Single plank elbow rest sides. We love the provincial nature of this rare piece of statement furniture. No boards are the same in the construction with historic fixes over the years showing a much loved/cherished piece of furniture. If you look at the front base of the settle the quirky uneven/organic different height levels add to the beauty of this early example. Original painted back confirming good age Circa 1850.  The perfect kitchen seat/bench, hallway boot seat/stand. Suitable for commercial settings/public houses/restaurants. Perfectly useable good order for age.
