Exceptional Antique Early Georgian Welsh Elm Kitchen Cupboard Dresser


An absolutely stunning early Georgian antique elm Welsh dresser. Fabulous depth of patina and grain. Beautiful quality with three drawer console base. Overhead three tier elm shelf rack with handmade forged iron hooks. Square peg and tenon joints signifying early construction. Elm lined dovetailed drawers, original brass drop handle escutcheons. Chamfered rear legs with front, side and top decorative carved detailing. An extraordinary piece of craftsmanship dating from around 1750. This statement piece of furniture will inject style into any setting.
