An early leather and mahogany English antique Chesterfield library fireside club chair/armchair. Dating from 1860. All original with beautiful worn patina leather. This armchair has the look and is all original. If you are looking for a nearly new modern bland version of this classic this is not the chair for you. There are worn areas to the chair from years of use and love. The leather is faded and worn in places, the frame had worn areas from years of hands rubbing the arms, there are imperfections which add to the character of the chair. As an antique survivor this chair has history and wear that you would associate with over 200 years of use.
As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm. Please look at all the images carefully and ask any questions pre purchase as we do not unfortunately offer refunds due to the size and shipping costs of our antiques/items. All our items are available on line at Search & Rescued and other online stores.
