An absolutely beautiful early Georgian provincial ash and elm Sussex chair. A fabulous survivor and great example of an early Sussex chair. Elm frame with swept elbow arms and turned legs. Rush seat, turned back rest, carved front stretcher rail and overall fair condition for age. Circa 1800.
