Antique French bleached oak os de mouton, chair which originated back to the days of King Louis XIV. The name, “os de mouton” (is French for sheep bone) and refers to the design of the arms and lower frame of the os de mouton French armchair. This is a fabulous  antique French Mouton O show chair. Reupholstered in 12 oz heavy gauge Irish linen. Circa 1770. The perfect hallway/bedroom/show chair.
