Large Italian Antique Mirror Circa 1810

An impressive, carved, early 19th century Italian statement mirror with architectural inspiration. A later surface has been gently removed to reveal the historic water gilding and paintwork. Fabulous  example with gilded accents, carved detailing original distressed paint and foxed mercury mirror. This stunning mirror will be an elegant decorative accent in any room. With its light color palette and understated grace, it will look wonderful placed above fireplace an enfilade, console table or chest-of-drawers. Circa 1810.
