Antique English Leather & Mahogany Clerks Desk Chair Circa 1830

A stunning early antique mahogany & leather clerks desk chair circa 1830. All original with beautiful swept arms and form. Original black leather with fabulous depth of patina. Original brass capped castors. A rare survivor. Georgian clerks desk chairs are beautiful pieces of our social history & this example is to be used for another 100 years. We love this statement piece of antique furniture.

Full height 100cm x full width 60cm x full depth 58cm. To seat height 42cm x seat width 50cm x rear back rest 62cm.

As a genuine antique / vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Historic repair to back leather panel and front back panel. Given the leather is original it has wear associated with it’s age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
