Exceptional Quality Antique English Leather & Mahogany Clerks Desk Chair Circa 1830

An exceptional early antique mahogany and leather clerks desk chair circa 1830. All original with beautiful swept arms and form. Original black leather with fabulous depth of patina. Original brass capped castors. The perfect desk/office chair. Georgian clerks desk chairs are beautiful pieces of our social history and this example is to be used for another 100 years. We love this statement piece of antique furniture waxed and ready for the home.

As a genuine antique / vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Historic repair to back leather panel and front back panel. Given the leather is original it has wear associated with it’s age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
