Paper labels and Thonet stamps to underside confirming design by the great man Michael Thonet. As featured in the Design museum and numerous institutions around the world. These chairs were one of the precursors for modern design.
As featured in the 1860 Thonet catalogue as the number 14 Bistro chair. This set have the rare bentwood decorative carved seats. Fabulous design and look to the chairs. Great patina/colouring from years of use.. Stamped to underside with Thonet Stamp and faded paper labels.
