A beautiful English Georgian wingback Chesterfield leather library armchair. Rare model with mahogany cabriole front carved hoof feet and flared heel leg. Fabulous aged leather upholstery with deep patina from years of use. Exceptional example all original. Circa 1830. Sprung seat base, pocket button detailing to seat, arms and back rest. Scrolled arms with studded detailing to edging. A very comfortable statement fireside chair.

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Relevant age and related wear to leather for age. No rips or tears to side or rear panels/chair at all. A few scuff marks to rear where the chair has sat against a wall. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
