A completely one of a kind vintage fair/circus/sideshow advertisement/signage lighting structure/sculpture in the form of a laughing crescent moon. This spectacular survivor of vintage fairground lighting originally advertised “The Rocket Ride” Large in size this unique piece of advertising lighting/signage will make an impact to any setting. Mounted on custom built stepped base/stand for easy/sturdy/secure display.

Very similar in design and from the same period of Studio 54 “The Moon and the Spoon” designed by  Aero Graphics, led by Dean Janoff and Richie Williamson which became a symbol of the nightclub and the excesses of that time. The ultimate disco ball/light to dance around.

Measuring 250cm height x 150cm width x 80cm long x 9ft wide. We love this unique and rare piece of fairground advertising. The imposing crescent moon, originally on the top of a tower drop-ride called a 'Rocket Ride', has been given a new lease of life by master restorer, Nick Elphick As seen on salvage hunters on discoveryplusuk). Great shop/commercial display piece. Link below to film of restoration.
