Antique French walnut os de mouton, chair which originated back to the days of King Louis XIV. The name, “os de mouton” (is French for sheep bone) and refers to the design of the arms and lower frame of the os de mouton French armchair. Covered in early rare Missoni upholstery  and padded with horsehair. Early example circa 1860.  152cn height, 56cm width, 47cm height to seat, 47cm depth.

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
