An elegant gilt and gesso antique French Louis XVI cane window seat. Exceptional quality with carved relief & swept stretcher leg frame. Circa 1790. 90cm width x 40cm depth x 50cm height.

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Cane work original and in fair order for age. Two small areas that have failed over time, neither detract from the look or use of this beautiful item. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
