A beautiful antique French Station clock. Rare glass dial with makers area and maker, PINÇON A EGREVILLE. Movement all in working order with original key. Black Ebonised case surround with brass detailing. 38cm x 38cm x 38cm x depth 10cm. Glass dial faced clocks station clocks are rare. Having the glass face averted the need for a glass cover, making winding and setting the time easier. Not many glass faced clocks have survived over the years. Dating from around 1840 this is a beautiful piece of history that looks great and still keeps the time.
