A very rare and beautiful antique bamboo and chinoiserie lacquered pastry table by the highly sought after and renowned James/Jas Shoolbred. Circa 1870 this table is a rare survivor and has makers plaque to underside. Typical of the aesthetic period with decorative inlay with scenes of birds and typical of the period. We adore this piece of furniture. Fold up/down display shelf’s and use of high grade black bamboo for frame. They don’t come better than this statement piece of 1870’s high end furniture.
