An absolutely gorgeous early antique French Napoleon Armchair covered in original geometric Persian Malayer silk “carpet” dating from 1840 this fabulous example/statement chair has the Country House look and will inject style and substance into any interior.

Beautiful ebonised turned feet and original velvet upholstery to sides/rear confirm a chair of substance. All original a rare find.

Ready to be used & admired for another 100 years plus. Solid frame and very comfortable. A beautiful statement chair. Scrolled arms, large splayed back, large comfortable seat area.

Malayer Persian rugs are very sought after and retail around £5,000 plus for good examples. To find an example on a “carpet” chair is rare and to be in good condition for age is a miracle given the age.
