A beautiful antique horse hair filled armchair in the style of the sought after model “The Hammond” by Howard & Sons. Sought after turned walnut front legs with beautiful ceramic Cope & Collinson ceramic castors. For reference as per the sale at Dukes London Auction house this fabulous armchair is identical in size/design to the Howard & Sons “Hammond” Victorian upholstered armchair sold at Dukes reupholstered in red, white and foliate cotton which sold for £5,720 in 2008. Fabulous investment piece, both with the benefit of being practical and useable antiques.
