Sat above an elegant tripod base with deep mellow patina. Dating from 1850 this beautiful piece of furniture will inject style into any setting. Original Italian Genova paper label to base confirming this is a rare example and superior quality chess table. These tables are to be used as intended for playing chess and when not in use to show off the quality of craftsmanship and quality of design/look.
