This absolutely beautiful antique apothecary cabinet/box is exceptional quality. Rare in date, form and provenance. Exquisite detailing with mahogany case, satinwood inlay, bone inlay and original hand blown glass bottles, stoppers, eye baths and assorted accoutrements for a travelling chemist/doctor. Dating from 1760/George II this fine piece of antique English furniture is simply stunning. Mounted on a later antique mahogany stand. A fabulous rare statement piece of furniture. 

From the estate of John Young 1927 - 2017 renowned racing driver and Co driver to Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori of Monte Carlo Rally and Le Mans fame. Young was good friends with Fangio and was instrumental in developing Jaguars lightweight E-Type to compete against Ferraris 250GTO. Young also raced alongside Jack Brabham & Stirling Moss.

As a genuine antique there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm.
