An exceptional pair of French Empire walnut armchairs. Gilt ormolu mounts, newly recovered in high quality gold velvet with brass stud work. Dating from 1830 this stunning pair of chairs are serious statement pieces of furniture. Very rare to have walnut frames and a sign of high quality production having the beautiful gilt ormolu mounts.
