As a genuine antique there is wear and use commensurate with age. The thick single plank walnut top has lifted slightly to the rear which is common with chests of this age. This does not detract from the use of look of the piece. We can if required have the top reset/restored at extra cost of £95. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
