An exceptional period armchair circa 1840. Beautiful shape & form we love the fabric, very of it’s time along with scroll back, open arms, wide set back seat, ring turned walnut feet & Cope & Collinson castors. Typical traits of Howard & Sons. No defined markings to the naked eye to confirm. Irrespective this will suit any Country House setting as as statement chair. We purchased to recover, however we have fallen in love with the fabric so have left it as it was and of the period.
81cm floor to top of rear of chair
Full width 74cm
Height from floor to seat 35cm
Seat depth 59cm
