An absolutely beautiful rare design Gillows William IV antique Georgian cane Bobbin chair. Exceptional quality with turned bobbin front legs, splayed rear legs, carved bobbin rear splat back rear with arched detailing and carved relief. Constructed from oak with wide open grain and mellow patina these chairs were to show wealth and design of the time. On the cusp of the new Victorian era and at the very end of the Georgian period these very rare chairs are of museum quality and will add style and substance to any setting. Circa 1837.
