An absolutely beautiful early antique French rare single thick plank fruitwood farmhouse refectory kitchen serving table. Fabulous patina from years of use, circa 1850. A very provincial piece of French furniture.Tapered legs with peg and tenon joints, fabulous selection of three thick oak lined deep drawers that would of originally held the provisions of the house. Thick single plank table top with open grain. Altogether a very fine example and a rare piece of furniture. These are highly sought after tables which are used as intended as preparation tables or as kitchen console islands. This piece looks good from all angles with deep mellow graining to all sides. These statement pieces of furniture are getting near impossible to source and are great investments for the future to be used and admired for years to come. We have lightly refurbished the table with wax and woodworm treatment.
