Antique French Provincial Farmhouse Elm Refectory Kitchen Dining Table Circa 1820

£1,450.00

A beautiful early Antique French Provincial farmhouse Elm Refectory Kitchen Dining Table. Originally used as a dairy/cheese table this early example is a rare survivor.

Beautiful table top with wide plank construction and deep mellow patina and grain. Beautiful carved straight tapering legs with peg and tenon joints. Circa 1820. We have left this  table unwaxed and treated with woodworm treatment. If you require the table waxing please contact us with what colour/type of treatment required. We recommend a clear matt wax finish to seal the table top. The choice is yours. Cost to wax/have specific finish is £80.

A Frame antique French oak bench not included in sale. Available separately at £225.

These are highly sought after tables and getting harder to find with the classic early French profile. A fabulous statement piece of furniture.

236cm length  x 79cm depth x 73cm height x 60cm to under plinth.

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm. Please look at all the images carefully and ask any questions pre purchase as we do not unfortunately offer refunds due to the size and shipping costs of our antiques/items.  All our items are available on line at Search & Rescued and other online stores.
