A beautiful early Antique French Provincial farmhouse Oak Refectory Dining Table. Beautiful table top with wide plank construction and deep mellow patina. Beautiful carved straight legs with peg and tenon joints with end stretcher legs. Large double deep end original cutlery drawers and central drawer. Altogether a very fine example circa 1840. The grain and patina of this table has to be seen to be properly appreciated. These sought after antique tables are becoming much harder to source and are not only fabulous statement pieces of furniture and investments for the future, but practical and to be admired/used daily.
Length 200cm x width 80cm x height 80cm X under plinth height 60cm.
As a genuine antique there is wear and use commensurate with age. Historic split to table top from wear, (please see photos). This does not detract from the use or look of the table. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm. Please look at all the images carefully and ask any questions pre purchase as we do not unfortunately offer refunds due to the size and shipping costs of our antiques/items.
