A beautiful antique library chair circa 1880. Beautiful carved oak frame with hand turned columns. Aged black leather with beautiful patina. Cushion back and leather seat. Cope & Collinson ceramic castors inset to brass caps which is a trademark of very high quality furniture. Superior quality likely to emanate from one of the major retailers such as Howard & Sons, Shoolbred & Co, Hamptons, Holland & Sons or Cowtan & Son. A very beautiful piece of period antique furniture which is not only to be admired but used. Very comfortable with high back and generous seat area. 

 

 As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age.Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm.
