An Exceptional Library Chair In The Regency Style Of Gillows

An exceptional mahogany bergere library chair or bedroom chair in the Regency style of  Gillows of Lancaster. With Classical Greek curricle form this chair is of small proportions with lipped back and classical swept arms terminating in turned ball decoration. The legs are designed with beautifully carved reeding with turned rings to the top. Recovered leather cushion with feather filling making this statement chair exceptionally comfortable to sit in. 

As a genuine vintage piece there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm.
