A superb pair and very rare examples of the sought after Ash Macclesfield country chairs Circa 1720. Each with the original rush seats. Ash Ladder backs and turned ash top rails. Turned ash leg supports and twin ash cross stretchers to the bases. Very firm and solid frames. Beautiful colour and patina.A must have for any country house or statement chair.
