A phenomenal teak work/kitchen table with two plank African Teak table top that has to be seen to be believed. Originally used as a Drapers table the piece has exceptional grain and patina from years of use. Dating from around 1900 this beautiful statement piece of furniture is the best on market. Four dove tailed drawers signify master craftsmen, the use of African Teak signifies high quality. Over the years the table has had different uses and has at some point been used in a classroom, given the ancient and more recent graffiti. Sex appeal please give generously and M Bennehan’s scribe from 1943 a few of the date stamps and scribes on the piece which add character and fun. We love this table and it is one of the best of this type we have ever had. Great size for a large kitchen or commercial setting to make an impact. Perfect work station, kitchen island, commercial shop counter, communal table etc. The condition of the pice is very good given the age and no worm or shakes/breaks to structure. Very solid and a strong two man lift to move the piece.
