An absolutely monumental beautiful early antique French Château Provincial Refectory dining table circa 1800. Fabulous patina from years of use. A very provincial piece of French furniture with peg/tenon joints and decorative apron with tapered legs. Thick three plank mahogany table top with open grain. Altogether a very fine example and a rare piece of furniture. These are highly sought after tables which are used as intended as preparation dining tables or as kitchen console islands/tables. This piece looks good from all angles with deep mellow graining to all sides. These statement pieces of furniture are getting near impossible to source and are great investments for the future to be used and admired for years to come. We have lightly refurbished the table with wax and woodworm treatment.
74cm height x 64cm to under plinth x 300cm length x 100cm. Seats 12. For ease of transportation and set up the top can be removed from the base frame.
As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm. As a precaution we apply a clear triple action woodworm treatment that also kills wet rot, dry rot and woodworm. Please look at all the images carefully and ask any questions pre purchase as we do not unfortunately offer refunds due to the size and shipping costs of our antiques/items. All our items are available on line at Search & Rescued and other online stores.
