A very attractive antique English Swivel Elm Captains desk/work chair. Sourced from a local Sussex Dairy farm the chair was used by the head of accounts. We love this historical link and the chair has fabulous grain & patina from years of use. Circa 1900. This is still a functional chair that looks good from all angles. Lovely deep patina from years of use, solid Elm construction and lovely swept arms. Thick single slab carved elm seat with swivel mechanism to underside.
