A beautiful and rare large provincial antique limed oak “A” frame French “Vendange” wine tasting table circa 1890. Direct from the Champagne region of Verzenay, this table originates from the Moët et Chandon Champagne House. Vendange tables are integral to French wine history. The vendange, wine harvest, begins in August and can finish as late as the end of October. Once months of hard work come to an end, it's time to taste the wine and celebrate with friends and family. This beautiful example table features lovely natural thick plank limed open grain table top with mellow colouring /patina and “A” frame trestle supports giving beautiful shape to the table. The perfect statement dining table for inside or out in the garden. Great for commercial settings were communal table setting is required or for commercial shop display.
