A Beautiful Antique French Napoleon III Leather & Ebonised Mahogany Music Chair Circa 1840

A fabulous antique French Napoleon III studded leather and ebonised mahogany music/show chair. Beautiful design with delicate fluted turned legs, carved pierced rear back splat with scallop shell and fleur de lis motif. Studded antique dark green thick leather seat. Circa 1840 these chairs were used to signify wealth and status in the music rooms/parlours of the gentry. We have fully restored this rare survivor back to its original glory to be used and admired for another 100 years. The perfect bedside/bedroom/bathroom/dressing table/show chair.

As a genuine antique/vintage item there is wear and use commensurate with age. Some wooden products may have signs of historic woodworm.
