An exceptional early 1800’s Swedish Biedermeier secretaire abbatant chest of drawers in excellent original condition with a beautifully book matched walnut front and inner drawers. Gilt ormolu key escutcheons and acanthus leaf carving make this beautiful piece of furniture sing. We love this statement piece of furniture. Original keys and also original Swedish 1960s magazine article featuring the unit for sale. In today’s money the cost then would have been approximately £4,000
